Breakfast with Santa

Christmas time is finally here! Now that we have a child, the holiday season is extra special and a little more exciting. One of the things Mike & I looked forward to the most this Christmas was taking McKinley to see Santa.

We knew the best (and least stressful) place for M to meet Santa was our church's "Breakfast with Santa". Trying to time our visit with Santa between feedings and naps was a little tricky, but thankfully it all worked out.

After our visit with Santa we headed to get a few pictures of the family and of McKinley in her cute Santa outfit.

Since it was now nap time, we did end up having the inevitable breakdown...this one was over wanting to eat her own shoes.

Thankfully we ended on a happy note!

Fall Family Photos

When we were home for Thanksgiving I asked my Mom if she would take some pictures of Mike, McKinley and me. This was right around M's 6 month birthday and we haven't had a good picture of the three of us since she was born, so I though this would be the perfect time for family photos.

6 Months Old

McKinley turned 6 months on November 2nd. My Mom took these great pictures that capture this fun age. I especially love these pictures because I made the dress and the hair bow that M is wearing.

I know it is almost January 1, 2012 and I am just now posting these, but I guess better late than never:)

Thanksgiving 2011

Here are a few snapshots from our Thanksgiving Holiday in Searcy:

I was not aware until now that almost all the pictures have McKinley in them. I guess that is what happens when there is a new baby:)

We had such a great time in Searcy. I think McKinley really enjoyed her first Thanksgiving!
