McKinley's Christmas Program & Party

Now that McKinley is in preschool, Mike and I get to attend things like programs and parties, YAY!

A couple weeks before Christmas, McKinley had her first ever school Program. I am sure that the more and more of these things we attend our excitement will start to dwindle a bit, but for this first one we were super excited!

Due to privacy issues, I can't share pictures or video from the program but believe me, it was a stage full of cuteness! McKinley sat on the front row and yelled "Hi Daddy" and "Hi Momma" while waving, which of course (to us) was super cute! The "best" part of the program was when McKinley raised her dress up and started inspecting and playing with her bellybutton:)

The program wasn't very long, maybe 20 minutes or so. The children sang a handful of Christmas songs ending with the classic, Jingle Bells. Santa and Mrs. Claus even made an appearance at the very end of the performance.

Immediately after the program, all the parents and families were invited to their child's classroom for the Christmas party and pictures with Santa.

Here are a few pictures from the party:

Towards the end of the party all the kiddos migrated over to the toy corner and got a few minutes of play time in before going home. This is how we found McKinley:)

These last 3 pictures are actually pictures of pictures. They were photos on bulletin boards throughout McKinley's classroom. I had no idea Mike had taken these until we got home and I downloaded the pictures. It was great being in her classroom and seeing the fun things she had done throughout the year.
