Cookies for Santa

Knock on wood, it seems the Organ/Johnson Family may actually have a Christmas tradition that is going to stick around for years to come. This is the second year that Aunt BJ and McKinley have carved out some time on Christmas Eve to bake cookies for Santa.

 As I look back at these pictures from last year's cookie party, it hits home that my baby really isn't a baby anymore...sniff, sniff!

McKinley loved making cookies for Santa! A huge thanks to Aunt BJ for being McKinley's little baking assistant:)

 

Of course you can't make cookies without eating some of the cookie dough or in this case a whole fist full!

McKinley's cookies are the ones on the right side of the cookie sheet. At one time they were cute little Christmas shapes, but apparently she didn't get the memo about carefully placing them on the baking sheet. So instead she squished them in her fist and piled them on top of one another. Hence the big blog of cookie.

Time to decorate!!!!
