Early Morning Family Fun

Happy Easter

Happy Easter...from a not so happy dog!

Sunshine

The Organ Family is loving this spring weather. Today, when I got home from work, I immediately opened up all the windows and the back door so that Martini could enjoy the weather also.

Anytime Mike or I get home from work or just running errands, we are greeted by a very excited dog. The excitement lasts about 10 minutes and then she settles down with one of her favorite toys. Today the excitement only lasted about 1 minute and then Martini disappeared. After a quick search this is what I found...

Martini had found the only spot of sunshine left on the porch, and she was determined to take full advantage of it even though it would be gone within the half hour.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and remembers to slow down and enjoy the simple things:)

Martini & Dixie

I couldn't post about Thanksgiving 2009 and not talk about the two 4-legged members of our family. This was the first time since Martini was with her litter mates that she has been around another dog for this length of time.

Both pups got along fine. You could tell at times that Dixie "puppy energy" was a little too much for Martini, but what do you expect from a 6 week old puppy.

Here are a few pictures of the two of them together...

I just love the next 3 pictures...

I am so glad Kyle brought Dixie to our house for Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see how the two girls interact at Christmas, when Dixie is 4 weeks older and probably 3 times bigger.

Martini Loves Titans Football!

I figured since I haven't had a post about Martini in a while that it was about time. Here are some pictures I took of her before the Titans game this week. We tried to get a family shot, but those hardly ever turn out. So here are some of her and her daddy:)

Chilly Morning

I was downloading pictures this morning and came across a couple that I took last weekend of Martini. Last Saturday I woke up first, which means I am responsible for taking Martini out to potty and feeding her. As we were coming in from outside I noticed she was shivering. I checked the thermostat to see what the temperature was reading...58 degrees! Since Mike was still warm and cozy in bed, I bundled Martini and I up and we went about our morning routine. Enjoy:)

Martini

My name is Martini Organ. I am a silver-gray Weimaraner. I will be 2 years old on October 24. I am an only child, so I get lots of love and attention. My favorite treat is ICE! Here are some pictures that will help you get to know me better...

This is a picture taken the very first day I arrived at my new home!

This is my favorite spot in the house. I love to lay on my pillow in front of the window and be a watch dog.

This is my very first snow day. Mom and Dad took be to the dog park.

I love to lay in the sunshine!

Scaring off the birds and squirrels

Hunting Rabbits

Playing with my two best friends Angel & Lily. They are Labradoodles.

I love my Mom!

I love my Dad!

Pictured here is what I call "Daddy Time." It happens every night around 10:00. I cuddle for around 20 minutes then I go settle in my house (crate) for the rest of the night.

This was my Christmas picture. I am wearing my Christmas collar that Grandma Organ got me.

I love my blankets!!!

I love to give "high-fives" in return for ice!

The following pictures are what happens when it is time to go to the dog park:
I love riding in the car!!!

I love to ride with my head out of the sunroof!

This is my most favorite place ever...THE DOG PARK!

Dad is playing a game we call "chuck-it." He throws the ball and I go get it.

Here I am playing with some of my friends.

This is my obsession...TENNIS BALLS!!! I love them so much I can get two in my mouth at one time:)

Sometimes my mom likes to dress me up and this is the outcome. This time it just happens to be a pair of my dad's socks! Isn't this so sad:(

The whole family

Hope you enjoyed!
