25 Days of Christmas: Day 24

Day 24: Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve started out with breakfast at IHOP while Daddy played golf. McKinley was obviously excited:)

We always joke that the only Christmas tradition my immediate family has is the tradition of always starting new traditions. So this years new tradition was sushi for Christmas Eve dinner. It also happened to be McKinley's first time to try sushi...

...and she loved it! She ate every bit that was put in front of her.

Time to open a few gifts!

Almost bed time:)

Day 23: Cookies for Santa

McKinley loved making cookies for Santa! A huge thanks to Aunt BJ for being McKinley's little baking assistant:)

Of course you can't make cookies without eating some of the cookie dough or in this case a whole fist full!

McKinley's cookies are the ones on the right side of the cookie sheet. At one time they were cute little Christmas shapes, but apparently she didn't get the memo about carefully placing them on the baking sheet. So instead she squished them in her fist and piled them on top of one another. Hence the big blog of cookie.

Time to decorate!!!!

Time to eat!!!!

Day 22: Christmas Lights

We couldn't let Christmas pass without taking McKinley to look at Christmas lights. Since she is still a little too young to enjoy looking at lights from the car, we took her to Harding University's Campus to walk around under the lights.

"I'm ready to go look at Christmas Lights!"
